The 100% pure wool socks from Duray are similar to the army style socks, and are the best for situations where you might get wet feet. Wool retains 80% of it's insulating properties when wet, which can be a life-saver in a survival situation. They do not have much of a stretch factor, and some people might find the wool irritating against the skin. We recommend wearing these with a thin liner sock underneath for comfort as well as additional insulation.
